Made Me Laugh...

So, Apple have these new ads where they point out the differences between Macs and PCs, in other words if you have a PC you're a dork, and if you have an apple, you're a cool dude. You can see them here.

Well, as with all things internet, someone's done a repsonse video which is quite fun.

And whether you're a Mac user, or a PC one, you can check out the new hit40uk podcast.

Comedy Success

We're enjoying making the comedy podcast, as are the staff here at Creation Podcast towers who get free crisps and beer when we record them, but we were delighted to get an email from recent featured artist Patrick Monahan:

"i was doing a gig last night in brighton at the komedia theatre and at the end of the show a bloke up to me with his wife and said that he has me on his ipod - and started to quote bits about the builders and canvey island and said he enjoyed it so much he brought his wife along to see me live stand up show! wow this podcast seems to be getting out there!"

That made us feel very chuffed!

Terminology

We spend too much time here at Creation Podcasts thinking about podcast puns. We even created the Rodcast off the back of one. However Wired News has chronicled a truly fab list here. Best not refer to myself as a podophile however...

New Podcasts

That's the thing with blogs isn't it? You get all excited about them and then suddenly they've been forgotten and then you feel guilty about how you haven't updated them and then you come to your senses and think - flipping hell - just make a bloody post.

So I have. But at least there's something new to talk about! Our mates at Classic FM have jumped aboard our podcast party and created three of their very own podcast children. Guestlist and Newsnight are spin-offs from two successful shows and then they've gone and created a special podcast only City Guide with Simon Calder - which is excellent. So download away!

We've Been Uber'd

Hooray for iTunes, you can now click this link to see all of our podcasts collected together at iTunes.

New Podcasts, Existing Podcasts

I was listening to the new comedy podcast with Patrick Monahan, and I laughed muchly. Go listen!

We've also just launched a new podcast with the man behind Yo! Sushi, Simon Woodroffe, it's called RadiYo. Do you see what we did there? Every month Simon will be chatting to some off his business heroes as they talk about how they go to where they are. The first one's up already and is also a great listen.

We're always interested in your views about any of the things that we do, so please get in contact if you've got a opinion. Everyone who does gets a creationpodcasts sticker. Or they would, if we had any.

Being Out There

It's an odd feeling to let a website run free. You've been working on it all this time and then suddenly, whoosh, you've got real visitors and you have to keep generating all this content to feed them.

Week one's been good with lots of people talking about what we're doing. This has included BBC Comedy, Robert Price, Chilled Cream, Stumble Upon, Adotas, Brand Replublic, Chortle, Broadcast Now, Scott Matthewman, Goniec, Rob Manuel, Media Network and Intelligenica.

It's also good to see that Kremmen and Comedy are doing well on the iTunes charts. iTunes is a great way to bring new people to the podcasts and being in a chart makes you much more visible. So be sure to subscribe to help us up the charts!

Beware the B3tans

We've just done our first bit of advertising for Creation Podcasts on top site B3ta. If you haven't been to B3ta before, or read its newsletter, you'd better visit it now. It has a habit of making all your work-time disappear. Mainly due to dancing kittens.

Anyway, welcome B3tans, hope you enjoy our podcasts.

And...On.

So here I am slaving away in London whilst John is in Brighton of all places on some kind of 'sales' conference. Except when he phoned he'd just been enjoying the funfair on the pier. Huh!

Anyway, he said that he thinks we're ready to go live with the site. Brilliant, so we've now pressed the button and are ready to accept real, live visitors (and search bots too!).

We've also registered all the podcasts on iTunes, so it's nice and easy to get access to our content, and already lots of people have found us and tuned in. So, if you've just popped by please leave us a comment, or drop us an email.
